Starting in 2019-2020, in honour of the pioneers of the scholarship, it will be retitled for these high schools to (all others will remain the same name):           

Peter McGill Scholarship

• Simonds High School,
• Saint John High School, and
• St. Malachy’s Memorial High School.

Maurice Roy Scholarship

• Bathurst High School.

Eligibility

All Anglophone and Francophone New Brunswick public high school graduate students graduating and accepted (or on a waiting list) in the current year at any campus of the New Brunswick Community College, the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick or the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design are eligible.

One scholarship is available for each New Brunswick public high school in the year for which it was granted.

Value

The total value of this scholarship is $1,000 awarded in two equal installments against to student tuition fees: the 1st installment is awarded at the beginning of the academic year, and the 2nd at the beginning of the second term upon successful completion of the first term and the student has returned to class. 

Deadline

All applicants must submit the completed application form to their high school Guidance Office no later than May 27^th.
