On Wednesday October 4, 2017, The TADD group and Interact group of James M Hill Memorial High School joined forces to fundraise money to help TADD (Teens Against Distracted Driving). Their efforts were to raise money for the setup, props, and decorations of a haunted house in the school. The haunted house will be taking place on October 27th and October 28th from 7:00-10:00, so come out if you dare to be scared.
They sold big and small Tommie themed cookies for $2 for the big cookies, and $1 for the smaller ones. The cookies had completely sold out in a matter of time with people from all over the school coming to get some delicious cookies. Many people even donated money after the cookies were all taken because they were excited to see a haunted house put in place at the school.
Altogether, the bake sale fundraiser raised about half of the estimated costs for the decorations for the haunted house and they also later sold hot chocolate at lunch the next day to come up with the rest of the funds for the spooky haunted house.
You can expect this haunted house to be full of scares, but be warned of flashing lights, jump scares, loud noises, and stairs on location. All the proceeds of the haunted house will be going towards Teens Against Distracted Driving. We hope to see you out there facing your fears.
