On Thursday November 15th it was national jersey day. Jersey day is a day where students can wear a jersey from any team that they wish. Those who did not wear a jersey, say that they enjoyed seeing the students of JMH dress up to represent their favorite teams. Students also say that it’s great that a lot of people participated and that’s it’s a great way to get to know other students interests without speaking to them.
There is a new assistant coach, Krista King! We are happy to have you Krista! At their last practice, the entire team took a vote on who will be team captains. Congratulations to Brayden King and Kieran MacPherson on being team captains this year! This week the boys JV basketball team played a game against NSER at JMH. The game was played at 5:30, but Ryan Duggan (The JV Coach) was asking all players to be there by 4:30 for warm-up. At the end of that game, the score was 62-45 for the Tommies.

Tomorrow, November 16th, the shoe boxes for the children and teens in Uganda are getting sent out. As you should know, unfortunately, they don’t have it as easy as most… So there are many things you can bring in to give - before first period. For example; hair clips, combs, coloring books, deodorant, band aids, dolls and small toys. Help make a child’s Christmas and give something to send off to give somebody the smile that they may need.
