I really enjoyed hearing your proposals and I look forward to receiving your phase 2 projects on or before Friday, May 1st.

Hi Everyone,

I am so happy to see that several of you are still interested in continuing with the Echoes 2020 Project.  Although your Phase 2 projects are not due until May 1st, our twin class in the Netherlands has already completed theirs, so please have a look.  They too are in isolation and are working hard to keep this project going.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Hello Everyone,

I want to begin by saying that I hope you are well and I miss you all VERY MUCH!

As I’m sure you are now aware, for the foreseeable future, we will be switching our instructional format to online learning.

Each Monday I will post English language arts assignments and instructions on my teacher page on the JMH web site, and you can complete the work at home.  Should you at any time require additional clarification or feedback, please email me at Cheryl.Courtney@nbed.nb.ca and I will be happy to provide further assistance.

If you do not remember your email address or password, you can text 1-506-210-0127 for IT assistance.  Be sure to provide your name, school name, your grade, and the type of assistance required, ex. “I don’t remember my password” or “I don’t know my email address.”

To give you a general idea of what this new learning format will look like, you will spend approximately 2.5 hours on English language arts assignments plus 30 minutes of reading per week.  These assignments will be designed to help you meet your course outcomes in the categories of Reading and Viewing, Writing and Representing, and Speaking and Listening.

For this week’s assignments, please refer to the attached document.  Remember, contact me at any time if there is something you are uncertain about, if you would like me to provide feedback on your work, or if you would just like to say “Hi.”

I wish you well with your studies and I’m looking forward to this new phase in our learning process.

Sincerely,

Ms. Courtney
