Physics (Period 1,2, and 4 )

We completed Forces Problems  (questions 11, 12, 13) on page 16 of the problem set.  Students have an assignment which is due on Monday.

Students also have a major quiz on Forces coming up on Wednesday of next week.

History (Period 6)

Studens watched a video on Stalin and Hitler.  They had to fill out a chart explaining who they were, political ideologies, goals, etc.  These are to be completed for next week.

Students also have to complete four booklets (Appeasment, Rise of Hitler, Background to WW2, and the Failure of the League of Nations).  These are to be completed by next week.

Physics 112 (Periods 1, 2, and 4)

We started our unit on dynamics today.  Students were to read pgs 126-128, and answer the questions from the lecture.

History 112 (Periods 6)

We completed our trench warfare booklets.  These are to be handed in for marks.

- Went over questions from the Velocity vs. Time graph found on page 10 of the problem set.

- Review for test tomorrow (Wednesday Oct 25, 2016).  Students were given the review material in class today.

History 112 (Period 6)

Student completed their booklets for the July Crisis projects.

- We went over the homework from Friday (Page 9 of the problem set)

- Students completed page 10, analyzing another velocity vs. time graph.  This was to be completed for homework on Tuesday.

History 112 (Period 6)

- Students participated in their peace conference, for their July Crisis project.

- Students watched a youtube video (Quantitative analysis of a velocity-time graph), which can be found on Mr. MacDonalds webpage.  Students were to use this information to answer the 9 questions on page 9 of the Problem Set.

History 112 (Period 6)

- Students attended an assembly.

Physics 112 (Periods 1, 2, and 4)

Students were introduced to velocity-time graphs today.  We explored the qualitative analysis.

For homework students are to answer the following questions about the velocity time graph on page 9/10 of their student workbook;

For the velocity-time graph, describe the motion of the object, at each period.  Communicate; (1) velocity (2) acceleration (3) Where the object stops (4) the final displacement of the object.


History 112

Students presented the peace proposals for their peace conference on World War 1.

Today students wrote a quiz on position-time graphs and acceleration.  Students who missed, will be writing tomorrow.  Also,students will have their first test in this class either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Hisoty 112 (Period 6)

Students were presenting their peace proposals to the class today.

Physics 112 (Periods 1, 2, and 4)

We deiscussed calculating displacement and distance travelled, for an object which is changing direciton and accelerating.  For homework, students are to complete questions 1 c, 5, c and 6 a,b,c for class tomorrow.

History 112 (Period 6)
