Important Update- Delay in Full-time In-Person Learning

Posted: April 11, 2021

**An important announcement**
Staff, Students and Families,
We received information yesterday from the province that announced the full-time in-person learning for all high schools in New Brunswick will now be delayed.
In consideration of presumptive cases of COVID-19 variants in zones 1 and 2, this delay will allow for more physical distancing in high schools and minimize the number of possible contacts should there be an outbreak in a school.
Cabinet and the all-party cabinet committee on COVID-19 will revisit this decision based on the advice of Public Health during the week of April 26th.
When the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development first announced the Return to School plan last spring, we knew that this would be a school year like no other. Over the past year, you have been flexible and patient as we’ve updated this plan. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing cooperation.
Thanks everyone.
