Great job on the apple pies everyone.  I hope that everyone enjoyed the pie with friends and family. You should practise making the pastry at home now. On Monday, Oct 18th we will be reviewing the use of standard procedures in food service. Tuesday, Oct 19th- Test on Standardization in Food Service.  Make sure you study the most commonly used equivalents and abbreviations.   We will also begin the school Breakfast program today so make sure you check the work schedule in the classroom.  Those serving the breakfast must be in the kitchen (room 186) no later than 8 am (earlier is better).   Wednesday and Thursday- Oct 20-21 will be the opening of the Cafe.  Check the production schedule in the classroom to see what your job is and when you work at lunch time.  Your peers have been waiting for the great drinks and foods you prepare. Friday, Oct 22- We will be preparing the snack for the first Nutrition treat (to be delivered on Monday Oct 25 during our class). Have a great weekend everyone.
