The boy’s baseball team traveled to Moncton the past weekend to compete in the boys baseball regionals. The Tommies were throwing Matt Carroll in his first game back after an ankle injury. It was a low scoring game as it was 0-0 after 3 innings. The scoring started in the fourth inning when Riverview got one run in the top of the fourth. But the Tommies answered back in the bottom half of the fifth with a run of their own. It was a dead lock after 7 innings of play meaning the two teams were going to extra innings. In extra innings each team places there two last outs on first and second. Riverview got the runners up to second in third with no outs and were able to score both runners. The Tommies were only able to score one run in the bottom half of the 8th. After a tough battle the boys took a heartbreaking loss in extras to a score of 3-2.
