On Friday December 6th 2018 Mrs. Wheaton recruited a bunch of students from James M hill to help build the float for the Miramichi Christmas parade. 35 students from James M Hill were in the parade but Mrs. Wheaton said it had to be hundreds who helped out. That includes the custodians and the student council also helped to support the event. Mrs. Wheaton said that it went very well and that everyone was very enthusiastic and exited. This parade really helped to achieve its goal which is to promote where we live and the float that was put together by the students certainly helped to achieve that goal. This event really demonstrates the future generation of Tommie’s helping the community that helps us. Mrs. Wheaton would like to give a big thanks to everyone that participated in the creation of the float. Great work Tommie’s!
