Girls Tommie Soccer

Posted: September 23, 2016

The girls Tommie soccer has been practicing on the field since a week prior to school starting, they have put hard work into their workouts with Mrs. Corlett which the girls start every practice off with. The team’s strength, speed and agility is improving every practice and this season looks promising ,with a league game win already in place after winning 3-0 to AQV on September 14th. The team has seven more league games to go and have a good chance to make it all the way to provincials in November. The team may be young with only four seniors but this may be the best year yet with coaches John Corlett and Chris Fanjoy running practices, working on skill and game play with the girls making a great amount of improvements. The team’s next game is an exhibition game against MVHS at home on Friday September 30th. Come out and support your fellow Tommies!
