Iced Tea House a Success at James M. Hill

Posted: April 28, 2010

The iced tea house was a great success last night at James M. Hill. For those who aren’t familiar with our usual coffee houses, it’s a time when students get a chance to show their musical talents in front of a small audience. This one had a slight twist however, instead of serving coffee; they served iced tea during the intermission. There was a great turn out from students and staff last night; we were able to raise $284.57 for this year’s prom! We would like to thank all of the students who participated in the event: Matthew Quann, Grant Carson, Taylor Sheasgreen, Kortni Nichols, Thomas Keating, Bronwyn Skidd, Aleana Richardson, Julia Dickson, David Hawkyard, Kelsey Hines, Brittany Cormier, Michael Tucker, Colton Curtis, Sam Mason, Jocelyn Manuel,  Aly Hansen, Heidi Girouard, Jaden McGraw, Nathan Corcoran and Geoffrey Cormier. We would also like to thank everyone who helped out, without them, this event wouldn’t be possible. Remember to keep an eye on the school website for events and updates including the grade 12 variety show, which will be coming up soon. Hope to see you there!
