Next Thursday, October 25^th, at 7:00 p.m., Kevin Hines will be doing a presentation at James M Hill. Kevin Hines is a suicide survivor, story teller, mental health activist and recently released a film on his story. This event will be free to attend.

                On September 24^th, 2000, Kevin Hines was only 19 years old when he jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge. Throwing himself headfirst over the bridge railing, he fell 220 feet into San Francisco Bay. A United States Coast Guard rescued him, and he was transported to a hospital in San Francisco where he received emergency surgery. He is the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor who is actively spreading the message of having a positive mental state all over the world. Kevin is a member of many different foundations, councils, committees and more.

                If you plan on attending this, make sure to go there early as it’ll definitely be a packed event.
