The girl’s Tommie soccer team competed in the PEI Wall of Fame Cup Tournament this weekend in Charlottetown, PEI. The girls played the top AAA teams in PEI and overall had a very good weekend, they progressively got better each game. On Friday they played Colonel Gray and Three Oaks both with ending results of 3-0 for the other teams and on Saturday they played Bluefield and lost 2-0. The scores this weekend didn’t matter, the girls played amazing against these top teams and even had to push through some terribly cold weather and played on turf for the second time this season. Players of the game this weekend were awarded to Allie Gorman, Haley Fanjoy, and Jillian Legresley, who had played for their last time in that tournament as they are graduating this year. Great job girls!
