Pumpkin Carving Contest at James M. Hill

Posted: October 29, 2009

On Thursday, October 29th, every homeroom classroom participated in a pumpkin carving contest. Pumpkins of every different style imaginable were carved, from an IPod pumpkin to Cinderellas carriage, from US President Obama's head to a man on a bicycle. In the end though, the decision was up to the judges. The winner was Ms. McDonnell's Apple Pumpkin. Mr Hembrough's man on a bike took the honorable mention. Pumpkins will be on display at the Halloween dance tonight for all to see. The dance starts at 8 tonight and goes until 11.
