Remembrance Day Ceremony

Posted: November 4, 2016

The Remembrance Day Ceremony is always a few hours of remembering the soldiers who fought and are fighting to keep Canada free and help keep many other countries free as well. We have this Ceremony every year so that we remember the soldiers who helped shape our world into the way it is. This years’ Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on November 10th 2016, and is being planned by Mrs. MacDonald’s English 11-1 class. The ceremony will begin around the start of second period and will feature standing for the national anthem, one to two minutes of silence, three skits, possibly a speaker and wreaths, for which we place our poppy in. The Ceremony is not fully planned yet so some things are still up in the air, such as the guest speaker, however I’m sure that the Ceremony will be just as nice and respectful as all the other Ceremonies have been in the past.
