OFF TO REGIONALS

The Baseball team is not the only team going to regionals this weekend. The girls Softball team will be going to the AA Northeast regionals, this Saturday in Bouctouche. They will be going up against the host, Clément-Cormier at 10:00 A.M. This will be single elimination, win and you’re on to Provincials. JMH is looking for their first ever provincial and regional title. Even though they started slow in regular season play, the girls are looking to change that this weekend. This is a very young program that has only been around since the 2014 season. Also, not only is the program young, but the team itself also lacks experience with just one senior on the team. That senior is Georgia Holland. However with only losing one player next year, the future is looking bright for this program. I asked Georgia Holland on how the team has improved since the start of the program? Here is what she said, “Well Daigle, It’s just that we get players that are new and never played before and are pros by the end of the year, thanks to Blake”. Well if your team is improving every day, you can’t ask for much more than that.
