The James M Hill boy’s football team traveled to Simmonds High last weekend to take on the Seabees in a David vs goliath match up for the upper hand on making playoffs. The boys started out strong, after letting just one touch down our tommie’s answered back right away with a huge touch down by Jared Macdonald in the end of the first quarter. Simmonds then rallied back putting up another touchdown in the second quarter making it a 14-6 game after the first half. The second half started off very strong for both teams. Not giving up a point through the third quarter they headed to the fourth Simmonds sealed the deal by scoring another touchdown after a series of Tommie’s penalties that pushed them back almost 20 yards. Simmonds now sits in fourth place with a 1-3 record and the Tommie’s now sit in fifth also with a 1-3 record. The Tommie’s travel the St. Stephens to take on a tough Spartans team in a do or die game that could get the Tommie’s a playoff position.
