Trick or Eat

Every year James M Hill participates in a fundraiser called Trick or Eat. This fundraiser happens every Halloween and it is when students go out and ask for canned food, non-perishable, and food bank acceptable items from different houses around the town. The Interact group at our school is in charge of it, but everyone is welcome to help if they want to.

“It feels very rewarding when going door to door and hearing all the people saying how good of a thing it is we are doing” said a student. Getting all the cans and other foods was only half of the work for it, then so it would be easier for the food bank, we sorted, bagged, and counted all the items we had. Filling up the entirety of the back of Mr Theriault’s classroom,  

 

            Filling up the entirety of the back of Mr Theriault’s classroom, we were able to donate 2233 items to the food bank all together.
