The girls varsity Basketball team travelled to Salisbury the weekend of December 1st for the annual kickoff tournament hosted by JMA. The girls started the weekend off strong by raking in two wins on Friday, they defeated Amherst and the host team JMA! The girls continued their winning streak the following day by beating the Carleton North Stars in the first game of the second day. Moreover the girls were sitting pretty with a 3-0 record when they faced there final opponents of the tournament, Colonel Grey High School; both teams put in hard work and hustle, but our Tommie girls took the win and finished the tournament with a 4-0 record and claiming the banner!!
