Usually Tommie Grayson Harris can be found running tech in the JMH theatre, setting up for student council or school-wide events, working on his project in The Block to create prosthetics from recycled bottle caps or helping the rest of us with our tech troubles.

"Welcome back" Tommies!

Tomorrow, along with your teachers, you will begin to explore the new world of Home Learning. The focus of this week is really about the how—making sure that you can connect with your teachers and use the various platforms that teachers are using. Once we have that established, we’ll begin to transition more to the what.

Seniors...we know your hearts all broke yesterday; ours all broke a little too. We know that you have so many questions about graduation, prom, post-secondary...and all those things are weighing on you.

We don’t have the answers for many of your questions. But we can answer one question that many have asked, and let you know there will be grad clothing.

In fact, each member of the JMH grad class of 2020 will get a baseball-tee style grad shirt, at no cost. Yep—that’s right—it’s on us!

As a school district, ASD-N recognizes that our students may be having a difficult time adjusting to the effects and changes related to COVID-19. This is a serious situation, one we have never faced before, and students may have questions or need help processing all that is happening in their lives right now. Or maybe students are missing their school resource supports, or are struggling with not having their daily school routine.

Hi Tommies! We just wanted to touch base with all of you, as we are missing being at school together.

We know that you have many questions about finishing this semester and how things will look moving forward, and right now we don’t have all the answers either.
