The Miramichi Kinsmen and Anglophone North School District are pleased to accept film entries for the Third Annual Kin Film Festival.  All students in ASD-N are invited to participate.  Students may submit films in one or both of the two categories.The first category is the Kin Category.  Films in this category will address the theme “Doing the Right Thing”.The second category is the Open Category.  Films of any genre or subject matter can be submitted to this category.The top films selected in each category will be screened.Also this year, Director Michel Guitar from the NB film Co-op will be

Next week, JMH students, along with thousands of other students across the prvince, will take part in the 2012-2013 New Brunswick Student Wellness Survey.  The survey is about healthy eating, physical activity, mental fitness, personal well-being, tobacco free living and various other questions.  Students in Grade 7-12 may also complete questions on drug and alcohol use.  All answers are private--student names do not appear on the survey or the envelope.  The information from the survey assists the province in targeting programs and services for youth.

James M. Hill's production of Tarzan starts on Friday 26th April at 7pm. Tickets are $10 each and are available at JeanCoutu or the office. The shows will continue until Monday 29th, April, so get your tickets and swing into action with Tarzan. Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes and the smash-hit 1999 Disney animated film, TARZAN tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness.
