Girls Tommie soccer team played a hard fought game this weekend in provincials against Southern Victoria High school. They played at 10am with frost covering the field and temperature below 0. They started off the game slow and were down 1-0 at half, but stepped up their game and with just minutes left in the game Abby Desveaux scored! The girls kept fighting to win during over time but the game ended in penalty kicks. The girls sadly lost after going to the 6th shooter. The girls had an amazing season and it always sucks losing like that but they should keep their heads up and be proud of their season. The seniors made some great memories over the last 4 years but I think this one will be one they’ll never forget. Can’t wait to see our girls back on the field next year and hope they get back to provincials and win!
