This upcoming weekend on the river, the James M Hill Tommie’s host the Harbour View Vikings. This is a must win game to keep the playoff chance alive for the Tommie’s as they fell last week to the St. Stephens Spartans in a 49-0 game. It was a hard fought game as the Tommie’s held off the Spartans to no points in the first 12 minute of play. The Spartans then busted open the score with 3 touch downs in the second quarter making it a 21-0 game after 24 minutes of play. When play resumed St .Stephens rushed quick after regaining possession after the opening kickoff of the third quarter to put up another 7 point. The Tommie’s had a lot of great chances though the third quarter but couldn’t capitalize on them. The final quarter brought 3 more touchdowns for the Spartans making it a 49-0 game witch would be the final. This game saw a lot of fans on the home bench side as it was the Spartans home coming weekend which made it a special win for them. St. Stephens improved their record to 5-0 sitting on the top of the leader board for the ten man league. The Tommie’s are 1-4 and are in a must win position to keep the season alive. Coming into this game against Harbour View the home town boys need to win big the get the final playoff spot and advance to play St. Stephens in a much wanted rematch.
