Math 9:Please complete # 5 (a-d), #6, #7 and #8 on p. 234. Biology 122:There will be a test on Evolution on Monday.  Please see answers to the Ch. 15 review questions posted yesterday.The test will cover all of Chapter 15, as well as section 16-1 (Population Genetics, genetic drift, founder effect, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium).

Math 9:Please complete the Extra Practice worksheet on Adding Polynomials that was handed out in class today. Biology 122:The Evolution test will be on Monday, December 9.  Please have all the review questions from the textbook completed, and we will correct them tomorrow in class, as well as go over the Hardy Weinberg problems.Answers to the Ch. 15 review questions are posted below.

Math 9:Please complete #12 - 16 on p. 223, if you have not already done so.Today we wrote a quiz on Polynomials (Sectino 5.1 - 5.2).  If you were absent, please arrange to write the quiz ASAP. Biology 122:Please remember to bring a calculator to class for the rest of the week because you will need it for the Hardy-Weinberg calculations.There will be a TEST on Evolution this Thursday or Friday - details to follow in class.

Math 9:Please complete #4 - 8 on p. 222 in the textbook.There will be a short QUIZ tomorrow on sections 5.1 and 5.2.  This includes classifying polynomials (monomial, binomial,trinomial); algebra tiles; identifying coefficients, degree and constant terms of polynomials, and grouping like terms. Biology 122:Please read section 15-3 of the text, p. 378 - 386 and answer questions #1 - 4 on p. 386.

Math 9:Today we started a new unit on Polynomials (algebra).  Please complete #4, 5, 6, 7 on p. 214.If you missed the Unit 1 test last Thursday, please make arrangements to get caught up and write the test ASAP! Biology 122:Today we started a new unit on Evolution.  The Gel Electrophoresis lab report is due tomorrow.
