Law 120: Students will work on their Charter of Rights and Freedoms paper. Rubric is discussed with students and the paper is due on Friday September 10th, 2014.
History 113: Students are learning about the historical thinking concepts. Historical perspectives look at looking at history through the eyes of the people who lived through the event. “placing yourself in their shoes.” Bio poems in class today.
Reading tutor: Students are working on reading and writing this week. After opening activity, students will read to each other for 20 minutes and write information on the characters and plot of the book. English students write their first journal entry. Focus on the following questions:
· Tell me about your partner this week: What do they like, don’t like. Tell me about their family and interest. Their skills in English ect. ( Paragraph)
· Discuss the challenges that you have experienced in working with an ESL student.
· What strategies do you feel you are using to aid you in communication with your student?
· What information do you feel could help you in bettering the abilities of your student?
