Entrepreneurship 110   (May 4 – 10)

This week we are going to look at peer assessment criteria to evaluate group work.  Your assignment this week is to compose an “evaluation rubric” to grade your peers in the venture project.

When developing your team work rubric, you must include 5 main categories, have a minimum of 3 key components for each category and have a grading system based on these categories and components.  Here is an example of a category, it`s main components and a grading criteria:

      Participation

 (3) - group members agree on clear definition of all tasks, take an active role and team engages in follow-up activities to monitor progress.

(2) – tasks are defined informally and not all members understand them, most members contribute and follow-up is sporadic.

(1) – Tasks are undefined, project is completed by mostly one person, there is no follow-up.

Some other categories you may want to include in your rubric are:  Communication skills, Quality of work etc… Again, try to come up with 5 main categories for your rubric, have fun!
