English 9 - Well, we've reached the end of Act 3, and the courtroom scene looms right around the corner in Act 4, scene 1.  Before learning the outcome of Antonio's fate, we worked in groups to determine three PLAUSIBLE outcomes, along with the rationales for each scenario.  It was a great use of your EVALUAING skills (thanks, Bloom's!).  Tomorrow, don't forget your novels for a little SSR, as your One-Pager is due on Thursday for your Book-A-Month. English 122 - Today, we discussed your Guiding Questions for chapter two, then examined a few key points, especially dealing with Steinbeck's incredible skills in character development and the ominous tone he creates through foreshadowing.  For Wednesday, please complete chapter three, along with the Guiding Questions and novel packet work that is required.  In addition, you WILL have a Reflection due on Friday (although not the final, "wrap up the semester" reflection that I'll be asking for next week).
