Hello, everyone!  There is a detailed post in Teams that explains the "Enrolled" vs "Credit" distinction that will appear on your transcripts.  If you do not opt in to "Credit" by specifying your intention to me immediately (we'll be picking up the pace asap), then you will receive the "Enrolled" designation.  Your first assignment is posted, as well - completing your own Annotated Bibliography by next Wednesday.  I'll have our "Credit" model laid out by Monday.  Looking forward to talking with you!  Any questions?  Send them through Teams or email me at kimc@nbed.nb.ca

Good morning, English 10!  Please check your student emails.  You've all been sent a message outlining the options available to you for your home learning adventure.  As you'll read in taht email, I'll be sending a follow-up email later today with my own sample in case you need  to see what yours COULD look like.  Can't wait to get connected!

Good morning, everyone! By the end of today, please check your email.  if you forget where to find it, just go to the "Quick Links" section of the JMH website, and "student emails" is right there for you. You'll see an invitation from me to join a group - that'll be your class email group, and the main way we send information back and forth for now.  Just a quick click, and you're good to go! On Monday, we'll take a look at your first home learning endeavour. Take care this weekend. Can't wait to talk with you!

Hi, everyone!  I just uploaded the info you'll need to frontload for the annotated bibliography you'll eventually develop.  Just follow the directions, knock each step down one at a time, then hit "turn in" so I know you've tackled it.  Note any questions that might come up as you tour the info.  Please complete by next Wednesday, April 15.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CREATE AN AB AT THIS POINT!  You are just learning (with some help from a couple of wonderful Tommie alumni...you'll see!) the why, what and how.  Good luck!!

Good morning, you jeaniuses!  I've posted our first assignment in Teams (I just took a peek, and see that many of you already checked it ou!).  Like it explains, please read the sample I wrote for you, then complete your own (not due until noon next Wednesday).  Feel free to contact me through Teams or through my email kimc@nbed.nb.ca if you need anything. Thank you! xo

Hey, periods 1 and 5!  Oh, do I EVER miss starting and ending my days with you!  For now, we are just easing into this new stage of our quarantine experience, as far as your academics are concerned.  By Friday, you'll receive an email as part of our class group.  All I'll need is a little response from you, so I know you received it.  That's how we'll do most of our communications, for now.  We could add some video conferencing, too, but not until you're settled into the groove with all of your classes.  Hope you're well, folks.  Miss you a truckload.  xo

Hello, you beautiful seniors!  I posted an "assignment" in Teams.  Please take a peek, then submit it (through Teams) so I can get an idea of who I'm able to reach.  Talk with you soon!  xo

Good morning!  I posted a note (under Assignments) in Teams.  It's NOT an assignment - just an explanation of what's coming.  If it's easier, just download the Teams app on your phone (it's free!).

Once you get a chance to read it, can you say a quick hello in the conversation?  Eventually, maybe we can try to log in at the same (same-ish) time so we can have a CLASS conversation...or even a VIDEO CHAT!!

But I'm getting ahead of myself... Go to Teams, take a look under Assignment, then leave a comment in the conversation.  That's it for now!
