Good day, folks!  Today in English 9, we watched the final scenes of the film version of The Merchant of Venice.  From there, you were asked to do two things for tomorrow:  1.  Sort the comparisons/contrasts of the final scenes of both versions using some sort of graphic organizer (would a t-chart work best?) 2.  Analyze that data to explain WHY these changes were made and WHAT IMPACT they have on audiences, characters, plot, and whatever else blows your hair back.  In English 121, we had another (better!) discussion about chapter two.  Chapter three and the accompanying guiding questions are due tomorrow.
