Hello!  Today, you handed in your Article of the Week or MacLean's assignment, then enjoyed some SSR (thanks for considering the setting during your reading today!). After that, we took another look at the provincial scoring rubric for the writing portion of the ELPA in January, and you attempted to score an exemplar from last year's ELPA.  We'll look at that in a little more detail tomorrow, then review the rationales for how that particular essay was scored.  No homework tonight!
