In English 9, we began our media studies unit by considering the advertisements that stick in our minds, and what makes them do so.  We'll continue tomorrow, and you'll be responsible for tracking the commercials through a 30-minute program of your choice.  In English 121, we did a short analysis of Robbie Burns' poem "To A Mouse," then began watching the film version of Of Mice and Men.  Remember to keep one driving question in mind: Would Steinbeck be pleased with the film adaptation?
