Hi, everyone:  I have your November calendar prepared, but I will hold off on posting it until we have a bit more information regarding the strike. 

In the meantime, you have two journal entries to prepare this month (one assigned topic and one topic of choice), so you can spend today working on your first journal.  In doing so, I would like you to follow the list of steps I’ve outlined below:

• 1.    Select your journal topic.
• 2.    Preplanning: List all the items you can speak about regarding this topic.
• 3.    Number the items in the order you would like to present them.
• 4.    Begin drafting your journal.
• 5.    Edit your journal.
• 6.    Prepare a final copy (typed or handwritten in blue or black ink). 

This month, I’m asking that you to pass in your preplanning page with each of your journals. 

I’ve attached your assigned journal topic on my teacher page and on Teams.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.  I’ll be happy to help! 

Important Note:  It is absolutely necessary that you go onto Teams each day at the beginning of English class and send me a notification.  This will inform me that you have seen the day’s assignment(s) and I will be able to record your attendance.
