So we've been discussing instrument families and characteristics of those instruments. Before we begin playing any instruments it is important that you all know a trumpet from a French horn, and xylophone from a bass drum. If you are uncertain about these instruments and any others, take some time this weekend to practise identifying instruments visually, and recognizing the sounds  that each instrument makes.You can do this using the websites we used in class, as well as, the Instrument Bee slideshow (see attached). Check them out in the "weblinks" section on this page. You will be tested on this material on Wednesday, Oct.12th.
