MUSIC IN MEDIA

Hi Folks!! Over the next few weeks we will take a look at how music is used effectively in Media. 

This week I'd like you to explore the use of music in TV advertisements and commercials. www.youtube.com is a great resource where you can find milliosn of TV ads. But check out this particular video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a4yM_wPvAo You may agree or disagree with the findings and opinions of this video, but feel free to create your own montage of a simiilar nature, where you outline the top ten best TV ads which use music effectively to enhance the product. If making a video is out of yoru wheelhouse, try it anyway :), and if you don't have the necessary tools to do that, old school pen and paper will work just as well. 

Extension Activity:

Now that you're familiar with Mixcraft, you can create a jingle to be used in a TV or Radio Ad. You can use a product from any era (real or fictional). Record yourself, or anybody who is willing to be the "actor" for you.  Have FUN!!!
