Good luck to JMH students Alex Thompson, Jamie Estey, Bradley Mattinson, Zach Creamer and Alex MacDonald who are competing in the Skills Canada Competition this weekend.This Saturday, April 12th, over 90 high school students from all across the province will be in Miramichi competing in hopes to get a spot on Team Skills Canada NB which will compete at 20th annual Skills Canada National Competition to be held in Toronto, Ontario in June. This event will be open to the public at no charge so please come encourage our future skilled tradespeople reach the podium.
The Miramichi United Soccer Club has a new look,
courtesy of a freshly designed website on the Goalline sports system. Many
coaches and players will be familiar with Goalline, currently in use locally by
both minor hockey and minor baseball.Starting
April 1st, online registration for the 2014 season will be available at www.MiramichiUnited.ca, by cash,
cheque, or credit card. This is open to players of all ages from 4 years old to

On Wednesday January 29th at 6:00 pm, the Lady Tommies will be playing a hockey game against their cross river rivals MVHS for a great cause. The girls will be playing in the "compete for the cure think pink hockey game" in support of breast cancer. The girls and the cancer society would greatly appreciate your support.in attending this game. All proceeds from the game will go to support cancer research.
