For the third place top seller, fifty dollars will be awarded, for second place, one hundred dollars will be the prize, and finally for our overall top seller, we will give two hundred dollars, plus dinner for 2 at a local restaurant and free tickets as well as a free picture package to the Christmas Dance.
SPC cards will be on sale at lunch until the end of the week. Don't know what SPC is? The SPC card is your pass to exclusive student deals on fashion, food and entertainment; with between 10-15% off at almost 120 stores. The cards are $9.00 each and an extra incentive for buying them at school is that you do not have to pay tax. There is a limited number of cards so don’t miss out!
Students are now able to request computer use (the CPUs in room 811) during study block. Students must fill out the form Student CPU Study Block Request Form (see your teacher or the JMH documents list). You must have the form into Mr. MacDonald the day before you want to use the computer so plan ahead. Computers are on a first come first serve basis. You may request more than one day but be aware that if there are many requests you may not get two or more days in a row.
The second cycle of study block starts today, Sept 27, and runs until Oct 15. Students are reminded that this is a time for assignment completing or reading. Come prepared as you are not to leave the classroom. See the JMH documents list for room assignments.
Our Tommie Soccer Girls team participated in the 30th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Please click on the Sports tab of our JMH webpage to see the image gallery. The 5km race began at the LBA, toured through former CFB-Chatham, then finished back at the LBA, with a fine showing of green and gold. Thanks to Coach Jason Hebert for his participation in the full 5km, too, even with a pulled hamstring. Way to go, Tommies!
