Period#1- Students present their StemExpo presentation of special effects.
Period #3- Law- There are a number of interesting cases where evidence has convicted or even freed suspects of crimes. In groups of 3 (A defense, crown and police) research and present to the class a real case study.
You will first of all explain the crime,
Point out the important details of the case proceedings (Discuss the case with the class)
Your police will then list the suspects and evidence for each.
One member of you team acts as defense and gives their reasons for the suspect
Another is the crown who gives his statement of the case.
The class will be the jury to determine the outcome of the case.
Then give the result of the case to the class and compare the real court outcome compared to the class.
Remember: You are the expert on the case, so you will need to provide and know the information about the case, as each jury member may ask one question that you must answer. (Due Wednesday 30th, 2011)
