Math 9:Please complete # 6 - 11 on p. 373 - 374.There will be a unit test on Similarity and Transformations on Friday. Biology 122: Answer the following questions about Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium for tomorrow's class:    1 in 1700 Canadian Caucasian newborns have Cystic Fibrosis.  C for normal is dominant over c for Cystic Fibrosis.  a) What percent of the above population have Cystic Fibrosis?  (cc, or q2) b) Calculate the relative allele frequencies.  (Hint:  Calculate q first!) c) Calculate the genotypic frequencies for normal homozygous dominant (p2), and for normal heterozygous (2pq). d) How many of the 1700 in the population are homozygous normal? e) How many of the 1700 in the population are heterozygous (carriers)?
