Media Studies: Students finish their presentations on Pop cultures throughout the decades. Teacher will then discuss with students the CUTE award competition on "school Spirit"- making promo videos (purpose, setup and organization) Reading tutor: Last day of Olympics in class. This week students played our own version of the Olympic games. we also continued to do some reading in their assigned novel. The Canadian students shared a reading moment with the international students- they read to them their favourite elementary storybook and then asked them five open ended questions about the book.The international students responded in their journals. Today they were tested in their reading comprehension skills.
