Hey there!  BIG day today!  We reviewed/relearned what makes a great paragraph (topic sentence for focus, lots of supporting sentences with transitions - you were given a reference page full of these!- and loads of detail), and a concluding sentence.  We then created a class rubric to use for your rewrite of two out of the three paragraphs you wrote about the "Dangerous Waters" packet you worked with last Thursday and Friday.  It deals with Focus on Topic, Transitions, and Word Choice, and it attached to this note. For tomorrow, please use everything we covered today and re-write two of your paragraphs.  Score YOUR opinion on your rubric, too.  Good luck!
