On December 20th 2018 it was “Ugly Christmas Sweater day” at James M Hill. Ugly Christmas Sweater Day got a lot of support as many students were roaming the halls that day wearing Christmas sweaters in different colors and patterns. The students who participated have said that it was a very festive and a fun day and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Those who did not wear an ugly Christmas sweater have said that it was fun to watch all the wacky concoctions of different sweaters that were worn.

If you’re thinking of ordering a yearbook, it’s a great time to do so - remember, the price of yearbooks will increase from $50 to $60 after Christmas. A deposit of $10 is all that is required to reserve a book. Also, yearbooks can be personalized for an additional $5. The total balance can be paid at a later date or at time of pick-up. There are a limited number of yearbooks that will be ordered, so buy now to avoid being disappointed.

The girls hockey team had a home game on Wednesday night against PLM. The girls took a hard loss. The final score was 13-3. Two of the three goals were scored by Kara Allison and the third goal was scored by Zoe Bourque who had gotten an awesome rebound off the other teams goalie. The girls won't be playing again until January 4th. They will be playing their river rivals, MVHS at the civic center at 6:50. Good luck and go support your girls!
