The Remembrance Day Ceremony is always a few hours of remembering the soldiers who fought and are fighting to keep Canada free and help keep many other countries free as well. We have this Ceremony every year so that we remember the soldiers who helped shape our world into the way it is. On November 2nd 2016, the grade 9’s are off to bring your kid to work day. This allows them to experience a day on the work field, and learn more about the job they may want to have as life goes on. As a grade 11 student, I participated in this event 2 years ago. It was a great experience for me I learned a lot.

It has been an exciting season and a breath of fresh air this fall but unfortunately, it is the end of the year for Tommies football. After winning the first River Bowl against MVHS, they lost in the first round of the playoffs against Oromocto High. Even though they were playing in the rain and the cold, the Tommies gave it their all right to the bitter end.
