ATTENTION boys and girls from grades 9-12 interested in playing JV or Varsity basketball this coming season. It is quickly approaching and that means open gyms and tryouts are coming up. Reminder that if you play a fall sport you will have to wait until that sport is finished before coming on the court. This is very competitive basketball so coaches like to see 110% effort. So that being said practices with most likely be 4 to 5 days a week.

The boy’s baseball team traveled to Moncton the past weekend to compete in the boys baseball regionals. The Tommies were throwing Matt Carroll in his first game back after an ankle injury. It was a low scoring game as it was 0-0 after 3 innings. The scoring started in the fourth inning when Riverview got one run in the top of the fourth.

After tying MVHS girls 0-0 on September 30th in an exhibition game, girls Tommie soccer has a big week a head of them with three league games to be played. They will start off the week by traveling to play PLM on Monday then hosting AQV on Wednesday and SSHS on Thursday, both at JMH field. The girls have had a nice start to the season with two league games won but have a busy month ahead. With hard work this week they will position themselves to be in a good spot heading into playoffs in a couple of weeks. Come out and support your girls Wednesday and Thursdasy at 4:30pm!
