The 19th Annual Miramichi Pizza Delight Hoop Classic Tournament will be taking place on Friday November 18th and Saturday November 19th (hoop_classic_schedule_2011.pdf). The Hoop Classic is co-hosted by Miramichi Valley and James M Hill and features the best in both boys and ladies high school basketball. Sixteen teams from around the province will be traveling to Miramichi to take part in the weekend of basketball. Tournament action will start up on Friday afternoon at 1PM at both schools. Games will also be played at the Dr.
Bullying Awareness Week is from November 14th to 18th. The theme is Stand Up to Bullying. Please stay tuned in to the announcements for important messages related to bullying. As part of Bullying Awareness Week, Friday, November 18th will be Blue Day. Everyone is asked to wear blue as a sign of peace and safety.

The JMH fall magazine campaign has started! We encourage all students to sell at least one magazine subscription, which not only helps fund activities here at school, but can put cash in YOUR pocket. Monetary prizes are available for top sellers. Also, anyone who sells even one magazine is eligible for a draw for cash $$$$.
