Science 9- Students are taking part in "Take Our Kids to Work".  Their homework was to complete a planet poster using one inner planet and one outer planet to draw and describe 5 points about each planet.  Due Thursday.   ES122- Quiz on Ecosystems today.  They were told they would have a quiz on Monday.  Quiz is based on a crossword we started in class last week and reviewed Monday.   Bio112-Quiz today on classification.  They were told about the quiz Friday.  The quiz is based on several review sheets we completed and reviewed in class.  They are also working on a bacteria poster and lab.

Science 9-  Test Thursday.  Cells, Mitosis, Reproduction, DNA, Regeneration, Transplants and Cloning   ES 122-  Working on GAIA projects.   Bio 112- Starting Classification Unit.

Science 9-  Test on Thursday covering cells, mitosis, reproduction, DNA, regeneration, transplants and cloning.  We are doiing review questions in class today and reviewing more tomorrow.   Environmental Science 122-  We are working on a project in class in collaboration with the GAIA project ( a group based out of Fredericton).  For the rest of the semester we will be focusing on regular class work, ecopoints and GAIA project.   Biology 112-  Test today on cell membrane, starting classification tomorrow.

Science 9 and ES122-  The classes are taking part in a Mobile Energy Center over the next 3 days.  The Center is a project created by the Gaia Project based in Fredericton.  They will be going outside Wednesday and Thursday so they will need a jacket.   Biology 112-  We are looking at the topics of diffusion and osmosis.  They will be completing their dialysis lab in class.

Science 9-  They are working on a mitosis project.  There will be a test on material covered so far in class on Friday September 23.   ES122-  They are working on a population assignment.    Bio 112- Started discussing cells and microscopes.  They will be working on a lab in class.

Science 9- Students finished a microscope assignment.  They have a wordsearch for homework.   Environmental Science 122- Student are working on an Environmental Movement assignment.  I passed out a sheet to each student detailing a semester long project called the Eco-point Challenge.  Their assignment was to read through the optional section on the sheet.   Biology 112-  Students did short presentations on Early Scientists.  We will continue looking at spontaneous generation in class.

Science 9-  Completed a textbook treasure hunt to review the main sections of the Science 9 textbook.   ES122- Completed questions in class on Environmental Topics.   Bio112- Introduction to biology and completed a Textbook Treasure Hunt.
