Journalism 120 student Christina Arbeau tracked down Mr. Tyson Theriault to discuss his recent Skype call with an orphanage in Uganda and about his fundraising program, WRED.

Reporter Ali MacTavish spoke with Drama Director, Mr. Gopee and Grade 9 Drama Student, Luke MacDonald on the upcoming musical, The Wizard of Oz.

On this segment of Tommie Talk, Zach Creamer sat down with the Captain (Chris Kelly) and Assistant Captain (Jeremy White) of the James.M.Hill Boys Hockey Team to discuss the upcoming season and how their last season on this team is going to feel.

The assignment give was: Writing Assignment - Compose a Narrative Essay: The "narrative essay" more or less tells a story. Generally the narrative essay is conversational in style, and tells of a personal experience. It is more commonly written in the first person (but doesn't have to be) and could tell of a single, life-shaping event or simply a mundane daily experience. You are to composes a short 150-200 word essay on an event in your life (life-shaping or mundane). Use a funny or sarcastic tone if the content calls for it.             - make an outline and draft. SHOW ME YOUR IDEAS.             - Show an example of the "interview technique" OR an analogy             - Have some sort of "punchline" at the end  
Last week Chinese exchange Journalism 120 students Nick and Steven attended their first JMH dance. They captured their experience by creating a video news story, which catalogs some of the most interesting costumes worn by JMH students to the dance. Attending the dance and recording the interview were both incredibly entertaining. Check out this link to see all the fun!

As their short story project, Isaac Henderson and Megan Kane devoted 30+ hours of their lives to create this Lego stop motion recreation of the Roald Dahl story, A Lamb to the Slaughter.
