Mr. Martin's Schedule:   Period 1 - Broadcast Journalism 120 (room 108) Period 2 - English 112 (room 319) Period 3 - English 112 (room 319) Period 4 - Prep Period 5 - Study block (room 319) Period 6 - English 111 (room 319)   Things to note: 1. BE ON TIME: make an early practice of arriving to this course before the bell. When you arrive, take your books out and be ready to work. Students who are late three (3) times will be given a green sheet and detention. 2. HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS will be posted on the JMH website: http://jmh.nbed.nb.ca . Be sure to check for downloadable notes or files if you miss class – YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR UNFINISHED HOMEWORK. 3. Hats, iPods/Mp3 players, headphones are to be out of sight during instructional time. Take your hat off when you enter the class and ask permission to listen to music while doing independent work.

Eng 112 - Read chapter 11 for tomorrow. Eng 111 - Finish reading Book 24 of The Iliad for tomorrow.
On May 29th, at Family Convenience, on the corner of Princess Street and Wellington, the epic battle between #TeamCarter and #TeamCorcoran took place! The challange was, who could make the better swirl.

Eng 112 - Finish reading chapter 9 for tomorrow. Eng 111 - Book 22 of the Iliad plus self assigned literature circle roles. These will be shared, first in groups by the role (Discussiondirector, illustrator, myth investigator etc..) and then in the final 30 minutes in your assigned lit circle groups.
