Chemistry 112- Chemistry assignment due tomorrow (it was assigned on Tuesday). We will work on the Candium Lab in class tomorrow using the results you got from class today.

Science 9- Today students completed a cell quiz today.  They discussed their topics for Genius hour and they were assigned a sheet for homework.  To complete the sheet, students have to write out the proper function of a cell part and then compare it to a school function.  We did the first two in class as examples.

Biology 112- Students did a microscope mini quiz at the beginning of class.  They copied notes on prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and they were given a sheet with two cell diagrams to complete using their textbook. We will review it tomorrow.

Chemistry 112- Students had a mini quiz on the periodic table.  Students were given a worksheet to complete for tomorrow.  The worksheet will be corrected in class together.  The lab is due in class tomorrow.

Science 9- Today we continued our discussion on cells.  Students were given a blank cell sheet to fill in and a crossword to complete with the cell functions.  Tomorrow there will be a mini quiz on the cell parts and functions.

Biology 112-  Students wrote a test on spontaneous generation and scientists.  They completed getting the results for their scientific method lab. The lab is due tomorrow in class.

Chemistry 112- Today we had a quiz on introductory material.  We copied some notes on hydrogen and periodic law.

Science 9- Students finished their labs and we started to discuss cells.

Biology 112- We discussed the scientific method and the classes were given a review sheet for their quiz on Monday Sept. 18.

Chemistry 112- Student were given textbooks today.  Students were asked to complete a table given in class.

Science 9- Students discussed different genetic traits in class and they were given a graphing assignment to complete for homework

Biology 112- Students were introduced to spontaneous generation and they were given a list of scientists to research.  If they did not complete it in class they were told to do it for homework.

ES 120- Students started a project today.  Final Project will be worked on throughout this week.  Students will also work on ecopoints if they are not completed.

Bio112- Students were asked to look over plant questions and a crossword.  Students will be quizzed on plant material this week.  We started the animal section today.

Chem 112- Take home test was passed in and it will be corrected tomorrow in class.  We are practicing balanced equations in class.

ES 120- We corrected the air pollution assignment, worked on the water resource assignment and watch a video on the great garbage patch.

Bio 112- Completed the protist and fungus lab.  Worked on the review sheet for tomorrow for protist and fungus.  Test on Friday.

Chem 112- We went over the topics of molar mass and using it to calculate moles or mass. Tomorrow will be a work day to practice what we have gone over in the last few days.

ES 120- Students are working on an air pollution assignment.  Tomorrow we are going to go into the computer lab to work on Ecopoints.

Bio 112- Students started their Protist lab.  Tomorrow we will be working with the protists.

Chem 112- Test tomorrow on Chapter 7 and Chapter 8- Review sheet were given out over the past few weeks and the answers were given today in class.
