We have had thorough discussion on the Elements of Music. Now it's time to practise listening for these elements in the music that you hear everyday. Attached are: Elements of Msuic handout with terms and explanations; and the format for your assignment, which is DUE on THURSDAY, SEPT. 18th.

Today we discussed those elements that make a style of music sound the way that it does. Attached you will find the document that you will used to assist you with your upcoming assignment. You will be comparing and contrasting two versions of the same song. Your test will be on Wednesday. Be prepared to identify both aurally and visually the instruments of the orchestra. In addition, be sure that you can place all istruments in their proproer families. Use the attached notebook file to assist you!

In addition, we will do some self assessments to determine which tourism careers are a bgood fit for you.
