  Period #1- THEATRE ARTS- LAB- Physical action- the students will examine how comedy can be conducted through physical action only. This kind of comedy is a parody of life itself. Lyrics are only used in order to set up the gag. Acting styles- (Notes and questions)- Homework- students concluded types of comedy- watch tv this week and identify 5 types of comedies- be able to support your answer. We discuss these on Friday. Period #3-LAW 120- Case study- Ashely Smith http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/2010-2011/behindthewall/ then answer these question: Who was Ashley Smith? Why was she sentenced? Summarize her experience. How was her behavior in the detention facility? What are your thoughts on the "fifth estate's presentation?" What biases did this media presentation of the Ashley Smith case present? Some say that there were violations of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in this case, defend your thoughts. Period #4 DIGITAL SOUND 120- complete 5 minute mystery.
